Quick actions and quick topics

Quick actions#

Quick actions are buttons on the widget's home screen. Each has a label and an action type:

  • Prompt sends a predefined message to chat.
  • Link opens the configured URL.
  • Inquiry opens the contact form.

Configure actions and their order under Settings → Quick actions.

Quick topics#

Quick topics are suggestion chips shown above the chat input. A click sends the configured prompt as a visitor message. The chips disappear after the first message is sent.

Seed quick topics with your most common support questions. They teach visitors what the bot is good at and cut down typed misfires.
